Artificial intelligence (AI) has moved rapidly into the electric industry including electric cooperatives by accelerating a variety of functions such as the processing of vast amounts of meter data, automated functions that increase reliability and enhanced member satisfaction. This course will provide electric cooperative directors a foundational understanding of AI, its jargon, implications, its applications, and strategic importance so that they can engage in conversations about AI in their boardroom and decide if this rapidly evolving technology has a role to play at their cooperative.

ACCOMMODATIONS/MEALS
Registration opens 8:00 - 9:00 am.
Lunch and break refreshments will be served.
A room block will be available and announced closer to the event.
ATTENDEE COST
Please note this course is off-site, the usual $25 fee for attending will be increased based on the charges from the Embassy Suites and the additional over 50 attendee charges from NRECA, if attendance is over 50. Invoices will be sent out following
this event.
This course is part of the 2025/2026 AIEC Continuing Education Program. Twenty-seven co-ops participate in the AIEC Continuing Education Program and share the cost of NRECA training hosted by the AIEC.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made prior to the registration deadline will not be charged. Cancellations made after the registration deadline or a “no-show,” will be charged the full amount (NRECA fees & Crowne Plaza meal fees). Substitutions are allowed.
